On September 27 (Saturday), our students participated in the "Happy English - Joint School Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration." This event was special because the host school is located in Cheung Chau, providing students with a unique opportunity to travel by ferry.
We were joined by an exchange student, Spike, from England. It was his first time visiting Hong Kong, and touring this beautiful outlying island was a delightful experience for him. Our students also had the chance to stroll around the pier and see the famous Hong Kong Observation Wheel in Central.
The event featured booth games and treasure hunt activities, where everyone communicated in English. This allowed our students to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture while enhancing their English speaking skills.
Instead of mooncakes to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, students enjoyed the signature delicacy of Cheung Chau, the Cheung Chau Buns, as souvenirs.
It was a fantastic opportunity for cultural exchange and enjoyable experiences for everyone!
